Top Fees

What it shows
Two ranked top-10 lists naming the biggest fee payers of the live window — the same last three epochs (~19 minutes) as the other Overview widgets, although this widget carries no window marker:
- Top fee · contracts — which contracts accumulated the highest fees, labeled where known (USDT, Wintermute, Metamask: Swap Router, DexRouter).
- Top fee · transactions — the individual transactions that paid the most.
How to read it
The contract list answers what was worth paying for right now. A stablecoin contract at the top is ordinary throughput. A market maker or swap router climbing it means arbitrage or routing pressure right now. An unlabeled address paying more than USDT is worth a click.
The transaction list is the sharper instrument: it isolates single expensive actions rather than aggregate throughput. Every hash opens the transaction drawer with the full gas and fee decomposition and the call trace — that is where an outlier explains itself.
Fees are shown in ETH, summed over the window; the window moves with every block, so the lists shift slowly rather than reshuffling. A single transaction near the top of the second list is an outlier worth opening.
Data & update cadence
Rolling window of 3 epochs (~19 minutes), refreshed every block (~12 s).
