DEX Pools view

What it shows

The Pools tab of the DEX section (/defi/dex/pools) — and where opening DeFi from the main navigation lands you.

On-chain observability for hundreds of thousands of DEX pools: composition, liquidity and TVL, swap activity, and discovery views for what's Trending and what's New. Four sub-views rank the same registry differently: TVL, Volume, Trending, and New Pools.

The registry coverage banner is worth noticing: it reports how many pool contracts TraceFast has resolved (typically >99%), broken down by protocol — Uniswap V2/V3/V4, Curve, Pancakeswap, and the rest. That number is the honest answer to "how much of the DEX universe does this actually see?"

How to read it

  • TVL / Volume — rank pools by locked value or trading activity. Blue-chip pairs (stablecoins, WETH, WBTC) fill the top; the verified badge means the pool's reserves were confirmed against chain state, and the reserve-status column tells you how fresh that confirmation is.
  • Trending — pools gaining activity fastest. This is where market attention shows up before it shows up anywhere else.
  • New Pools — freshly deployed pools. New pool + unknown token + sudden volume is the classic signature of both genuine launches and rug pulls; the pool page and its token labels help you tell which.

Each pool links to its own page — composition, swap history, and liquidity events. Liquidity changes can also be explored by transaction, which pairs naturally with the transaction drawer's trace view.

Every pool opens to its own page at /defi/dex/pools/0x… (pools without a unique address are addressed by identifier instead, at /defi/dex/pools/by-uid/…). A header states the essentials — protocol and version, fee tier, resolution confidence, TVL (or an honest TVL unavailable when reserves can't be verified), and 24h/7d volume and swap counts — and the detail is split across tabs:

  • Overview — token composition, a volume-and-swaps chart, and the most recent swaps.
  • Liquidity & TVL — locked value over time and its reserve breakdown.
  • LP Liquidity — this pool's own add/remove events (the LP Liquidity feed, scoped to one pool).
  • Swaps — the full swap history, not just the latest.
  • Price — price derived from the pool's own on-chain trades.
  • Risk & Trust — signals composed from entity labels, proxy/upgradeability, blacklist status, pool age, composition, and trusted TVL. The panel is deliberate that absence of a signal is not a safety guarantee — it flags what it found (an upgradeable token contract, say), not everything that could be wrong.
  • Dependencies — the contracts the pool relies on, per protocol: a Uniswap pool's factory (plus its hook on V4), a Curve pool's gauge and LP token, a Balancer pool's vault and rate providers.
